Alas, before he can even grab it, his Shadow Drive finally cancels out, allowing the pain from Nimika's assault sink in, his body feeling as if it were on fire. He gasps as his body begins shuddering rather violently, the strain he put on his magic now taking its toll on his body. "Chisuko...gomenesai..." He manages to croak out before he falls unconscious, his body now still as he begins undergoing a recovery process. As he lays there, however, a very small pool of blood begins to form from his open wounds.
