However, when she reached Granny's, she found that people were suspicious of her, considering that she was the last to see Snow White before her disappearance. After Cinderella poured coffee on Faye's hand, David came up to her and spoke with her. David told Faye about the incident with Hyde and Regina, and in turn, Faye told him that Hyde gloated to her and told her that Regina was supposed to listen and do whatever Faye or David told them to. The doctor also told David about the magic bean extract and he took the vial so he could have Mother Superior see if she can make a portal with the extract. After that, she was told to go home, which she did. Later that night however, Mr. Gold came to her door only to find Evelyn Hyde instead of Heather Jekyll. After speaking and drinking scotch with Hyde, bearing his heart and his true feelings to her in a daze, he gave her a necklace that would allow Faye to control her nightmares, asking for nothing in return. After Mr. Gold left, Faye was left in confusion over why Gold would help her like that.

Belle's lovely morning was interrupted by Regina, who was pounding on the door shouting for Rumpelstiltskin. She answered the door to tell Regina that Rumpelstiltskin wasn't home (which was true), only to have Regina snidely tell her to go and get the imp to talk to her. After Belle stood up to Regina, Rumpelstiltskin appeared and told Belle to go inside. She did as he asked and allowed the two of them to talk. After the discussion was over, she asked Rumpelstiltskin as to what Regina wanted, but he didn't answer, and instead told her that she was to have a job and it was one that she wasn't going to like. She was pleasantly surprised to learn that she was going to work in the library. After thanking Rumpelstiltskin, they agreed that he would pick her up later so they could go home together. She spent the time before then, cleaning and reading books. When they got outside of the library however, Belle couldn't help but overhear that Faye was distraught and she asked Hopper as to why, only for him to say that he didn't know. She told Rumpelstiltskin that she was going to go check on Faye later, but he instead jumped and said that he would go check on her, for Belle.

Mark had begun his day performing various morning activities before spending his time on a rather extravagant Civil War battlefield he had set up in the basement. His peace was soon to be interrupted, however, by a surprise phone call from none other than "Mayor" Mills. Displeased and not bothering to hide it, Mark shortly got to business, with Regina mentioning Mark coming over to her house under the slight implication it would be to discuss sharing custody of Mason. Mark, though indignant, agreed and got his things together before heading outside to make the somewhat quick drive to Regina's mansion. But when he looked in his truck window, he saw not his own reflection, but that of The Tin Man's; staring back at him. Mark was quick to force The Tin Man away, out of his mind, as he was nothing more than a memory now. The Tin Man, however, after moments of preparation (seeming to undergo extreme anguish before speaking) cryptically said that he was as much a part of Mark, as Mark was a part of him. Before Mark could retort, The Tin Man had disappeared, back into the recesses of Mark's head. Shaken but not deterred, Mark continued on with his errands, having barely any time to park by Regina's house before noticing the demolished front door, his own handiwork even. Examining the front door more closely, it didn't take a noted observer to realize that the door was beyond saving, and would need replacing. As if on cue, Regina mysteriously appeared from the back yard, holding a basket of apples in hand. After making one cutting jab, Mark shortly asked what it was she wanted. At this, Regina brought up the fact that a citizen had vandalized her property and threatened potential lawsuit unless Mark repaired or replaced it. Not willing to play her game, Mark told her to not take demands, as she had all but been de-powered at this point. This did not help the Mayor's mood, and she proceeded to insult Mark before he insulted her back, making his way back to his truck to head home. Before he could step into the vehicle, however, Regina used her magic to entrap the fireman in constricting vines, slowly strangling him whilst demanding he repair her door. Beginning to object, Mark could barely spill out a sentence before Regina gagged him with one of her apples, telling him lastly he would repair her door or she would kill him before dropping him from the vines onto his bad shoulder. Humiliated, hurt, and angry, Mark crushed the apple that had gagged him in his hand before slowly getting to work, taking a drive to town to purchase a new door. It was at this time that Mark drove by Storybrooke Elementary, just as school was being let out. Noticing his son leaving with the rest, it didn't take a deductive genius to see that he was upset; and seeing how the other kids treated him...Mark could only guess what the problem was. Deciding to act on his fatherly instincts while remaining platonic, Mark signaled Mason over and had a short conversation about what was going on. Having the perfect idea as to how to bond, Mark suggested Mason come with him to help repair the broken door. Mason agreed, and the two of them hurried to the store to purchase a few tools and materials. The two of them eventually made it back to Regina's house, where they began their work on replacing the door, first beginning with unhinging the door to take it off. Letting Mason use the hammer, it didn't take long for the boy to clip Mark on the thumb with the hammer. Initially, Mark was obviously pained at the hit, but then realized how much he had missed having a hand that felt things. More happy than before, Mark quickly forgave the somewhat horrified boy before continuing on with his work. But then, as if on cue, Regina emerged from the house, clearly not happy with the situation at hand. Asking what Mason was doing at home and not at August's, Mark interjected, mentioning how Mason wasn't allowed at August's house, due to breaking his nose (to which Mark held a certain sense of pride). Regina ushered Mason in before confronting Mark again. Mark, not seeing anything wrong with the situation, questioned Regina's anger. But her, not willing to explain herself, told Mark to get the work done under threat of death. Now alone once again, Mark quietly finished his work on the door, humming a native song to himself as he did so.

Did a lot of things, none of which were interesting enough to actually be shown. He's broken his record for least eventful day. He's kind of like Milton from office space, not even sure if people would notice if he disappeared.

not yet

not yet

Wonderland: Chapter 2 Down the Rabbit Hole Day 3 Character Summary
