As Masahiko practically demanded they do not go after Sayuri and Wes, stating that only council members were pretty much only allowed. Considering that most of them were defeated, Karn was unsure it really mattered anymore at this point. But Penny didn't seem to argue it and he guessed if it was really a concern, Jamie could handle it.

As the fire wizard said they were going outside to make sure the townspeople don't get into danger from curiousity, Karn ruffled his brown feathers and flapped so he was in the air.
