That sounds good, so far, there hasn't been any ship that universally screams "I shoot stuff". It'll be nice to have a warship that everyone knows is a warship. 

After the war, the Terrans might enter the whole trade scene. I'm sure people would be interested in purchasing some fine Terran products. Hell, I'll bet they could come up with some pretty useful stuff with all their insanely advanced psychics knowledge. Provided they can keep a hold on it, of course. Maybe they just never sell to magic species, thus giving all of them a trade dispute casus belli so they don't lose stability when they declare war.
