Yoshua, I'm not the gm obviously but what you have I think is pretty solid and kudos for staying away from antimatter. 

And your question of navy size. I get the impression that you go for simplicity over dedicated warships. I can see you having a large, numerous all purpose navy but it wouldn't be particularly strong in any field.
