Username: Pirouette Name: Lady Millicent "Milly" of House Cheviot Age: 19 Gender: Female Allegiance: Lugere Weapon: Milly usually arms herself with two short tempered blades. One has a very dull edge and serves multiple purposes such as non-lethal dueling/sparring and protection in combat. The second blade is a very fine, sharpened blade serving only one grim purpose. Milly isn't the type that enjoys killing but in self-defense she has no problem with taking a life. Appearance: Milly is not the best example of noble fashion. Instead she dresses rather plainly, and more specifically, like an off-duty knight. Her hair is usually tied up in a simple bun to prevent distraction in her hobbies. Her clothes are nice and definitely tailored but they aren't flashy and usually a bit dirty. Sometimes she wears a padded leather jacket with a small emblem right over her breast, adorning the Cheviot House Sigil, a black sixteenth note crossed with a sixteenth rest on a light blue background. Personality: Milly is, as you can imagine, a bit tom-boyish. She explains it as her dislike for the refined elegance of nobility rather than her desire to appear "manly." Nobility just seems like an excuse to be distant from everybody else. There isn't an opportunity to learn how the world really is by just sitting around in concert halls or manors. It is a suspension of reality by living in nobility and Milly doesn't like the idea of being delusion to the world. She doesn't outright hate it, in fact, she is grateful that she isn't forced to work for a shitty life. She knows she has had it good but in her words, "noble people suck". It was really all the people that turned her away from the posh life of nobility and not the nobility itself. This is best summed up by her name. Millicent is a rather refined title and she loves her name but the people that really know her cut out all the "Lady Millicent" crap and call her "Milly". Outside of that, you'd probably find Milly to be a bit distant, no sense of humor, and seemingly mad at something when you first meet her. Eventually that coldness warms up and she doesn't not really care who you are. Poor or rich, morph or no. Biography: House Cheviot is semi-major hold in the Lurere continent but not for the reasons you'd expect. This house never lead any crusades or was the deciding factor in any battle, but rather, this house was always famed for its ability to schmooze and entertain greater lords. Generations of great musicians, dancers, and actors all helped build the Cheviot family up by charging ludicrous amounts for their services but some Houses were willing to pay that price. Finance turned into power which lead to the purchasing of land, therefore expanding the power of the family. Since the beginning, children of the House were to always learn a trade of the fine arts. They got to choose but as long as they mastered something. Millicent chose to master dueling, much to the dismay of her parents. Dueling wasn't necessarily a fine art but historically, the Cheviots had some great fencers and duelists so it was an allowable selection according to the family tradition. Millicent's parents were not too pleased because being the firstborn, it unofficially meant that you had to a real class act and for a time, Millicent's parents did not believe that Milly could learn how to be a real lady by dueling. Gender roles weren't as strict as some alternate dimensions but they still existed. A lady shouldn't be fighting but Millicent did and she won. It was by winning that her parent's began to sort of accept it. As it turns out, it was a great spectacle to see a woman duelist beat male duelists. Winning didn't happen all the time but the fact that Milly could beat just about anybody at anytime only helped other lords and ladies to respect the Cheviot name. So until Milly's parents pass and she is required to return to rule the house, she will just keep on wandering the world, challenging any lord or lady who wishes to fight. And it wasn't just her fighting, eventually Milly allowed challenges for Mel to face a lord's or lady's Pokémon. Other: --- Pokémon: Meloetta Nickname: Mel (Only Millicent uses the name) Species: Meloetta Moveset: Relic Song, Psychic, Close Combat, Safeguard Ability: Serene Grace Appearance: Mel has always been spared of wearing clothes. Even her natural appearance gives off the impression she is wearing clothes so it was never deemed necessary. Mel is a bit uptight and pretentious, even refusing to interact with people of perceived low-birth. She (for the sake of pronoun usage) loves attention, compliments, and the chance to perform but will almost always deny a peasant's request. Millicent has slowly made an impact on Mel, opening her up to the world. She isn't outright repulsed by commoners but her unease is noticeable. One would presume Mel would dislike Millicent greatly but deep down, Milly knew Mel would like the attention and adoration that commoners give her. One other thing Millicent has been doing for Mel and that is combat training. Mel was always used for performances of dance and song for nobility and never for combat. Mel was a showcase of class and as the firstborn female, Meloetta was usually trusted with the firstborn in hopes of teaching the first born how to sing and dance like a proper lady. Well Millicent learned how to sing and dance pretty darn well but in return, Milly taught Mel how to fight proper, using her own experience in training and the House's Trainer for advice. Despite Mel's better attitude, she still hates Morphs as she believes them to be unnatural. Physically she can sense them, too. --- Addendum: Meloetta has two forms and can change form by using Relic Song. After a time she'll change back into her original form, Aria Form, which is pictured above. The second form, Pirouette Form is this here:
