Kalinda listened to Professor Steinm taking a few notes, but was antsy for the lesson to end, to be able to perform with Professor Maka, to be able to resonate with Tori. To be able to talk with Professor Maka, to find out some ways of protecting Tori, even as Tori protected her. 

Still, she managed to take effective note, as Tori leaned back in her chair. Her eyes were closed, listening to the Professor. Kalinda had long since learned that this was how Tori remembered things. Tori had a good memory, but Kalinda knew she would still borrow her notes. Which she didn't mind. 

At a snore, Kalinda sighed. Or maybe she was just asleep. She poked Tori in the side, and the young girl jolted awake. "Shhh" Kalinda said softly.
