Buuut I think you've misinterpreted what I've said first. Evilswarms pure are better than a mix of the two, mainly because the regular Steelswarms don't mesh well with the Evilswarm effects (I mean, you can't tribute anything like Mandragora or Castor to get off something like Moth's effect) and it's dead if you draw into them. Evilswarms are usually better as just a rank 4 toolbox that can suppress big plays in the end.
