Sometimes Ryuu took a shortcut by the girls dorms.  It was the fastest way to the practice fields from the Boys dorm, after all.  While walking by this time, however, he saw a woman's leg come out of the wall, then reenter it.  [i]What is going on?[/i] he thought.  [i]Some new girl trying out her powers? Interesting.[/i]  He was hoping to find someone to duel with, hopefully one of the new people.  He may not be the best fighter in school but dueling new students was a good way to see what everyone could do before they got too strong.  Hopefully he'd be able to plan a way to defeat them, then, like Batman with the Justice League. True, it was American manga, but they were much more common here than Japanese manga, so he'd read what he could get his hands on.

He waited outside the nearby door for the girls to come out, and pulled the latest issue of X-men out of his pocket.  It was something to do as he waited, at least.
