Connor nodded, starting to coat one side of a piece of paper himself. It appeared he had taken his fathers advice. He was comfortable, and completely at ease. And Conorr wasn't much of an actor, nor one to pretend. He was genuine. Just about everything he did he did genuinely. He worked quickly, and soon had his stack of papers coated with the solution. He started to hang them up to dry all around the laboratory. He enjoyed the work, despite it's repeativeness. "Now to wait for it to dry "So then you need to find them to figure out who you are" Kalinda said thinking
Kijani painted hers as well, her hand inexpert but very steady. Soon, she too was hanging up her papers and looking over their work. "So..." She started to play with her hair again. "Now what do we do?" She leaned against the lab counter, smiling slightly at him. Honestly, she'd never seen Connor so at ease. It was nice to watch, but at the same time, she wondered how to do it. Literally- how did one be at ease, let their guard completely down, when they were around other people? She'd never been able to- quite the opposite, in fact. She'd been taught to keep her mind in constant defense, while at the same time being aware of any and every striking point in other people. Even now, she couldn't relax, even though Connor's happiness made her want to. --- "That would be incredible. But I seriously doubt it's going to happen." She shook her head. A wave of sadness hit her, and she turned her head toward it. Kalinda went a step further, wandering off, probably to find the source. Devika sighed and leaned back into the grass. "...now what?" She had no one to speak to here, no plans... no nothing.
