Ashlyn then looked down, and mumbled, "Not my fault when he lands on his face..." 

Of course, that's exactly what happened. He tried to dance, but ended up falling and faceplanting on the ground as his right leg gave out. The way it gave out made it obvious that when he was younger he'd been in an accident that made it so he can't dance now.
