They certainly weren't following the usual script. 'Who are your parents? What are your powers?' Change could be refreshing, change could be dangerous. He was just a cock-sure teenager with something to prove. Then again it could be too much of a coincidence, the stranger who seemed to already know so much. She listened to his proposal showing no obvious signs of interest or disinterest, tearing the bread to pieces as she ate. Kat wasn't here to make friends, but she wasn't here to make enemies either.
