Indeed they are!  Hop on over to the official thread linked in the OP, get chatting, and make a character anytime!  One thing, sadly, I must insist on.  In order to try and keep from retconning [i]too[/i] much stuff, I'd appreciate your character's name starting with l, g, s, h,  r, v, i, n, e, or t.  Sorry about that.
