"Nice to meet you, Aura!" Subaru was glad the medic seemed like such a friendly person. It was a little weird, suddenly finding herself in a completely different chain of command, so it was nice to see a friendly face. At the doctor's question, she cocked her head to one side.

"Hm? Oh right, I forgot you guys don't have Devices." Subaru giggled and held the pendant slightly closer. "This is Mach Caliber, my partner."

"Most mages in my world use these." Subaru continued, letting the pendant return to its place against her chest. "They're like your usual magical computer, only way smarter."
