Heh, I picked Maine because I wanted a familiar yet vaguely mysterious setting, and also because of all the horror authors associated with it.... and also because there's a lot of trees there lol. Oakenheim will be a rather out of the way town surrounded by a forest, and while I'm tempted to say it's similar to the towns in the Cthulhu mythos, things won't get quite so... maddening XD
