What I mean is that for all intents and purposes, Free should look and to certain people, feel like a human or, to the extremely sensitive,  ALMOST human. Does Ev's spirit sense let her see a person's powers as well as the fact that they have them?

Speaking of Ev's ability to sense things from other people, Lisa's aura should feel a lot like Ev's with some subtle differences, and not so pronounced. Her secret has something to do with shadows.
