"I don't mind at all," Jack replied calmly as he grasped her wrist firmly, but with care. "Stay close to me, we need to get through this crowd." Coordinating his movements with hers, now, Jack weaved his way through the mob of duelist in the hall and towards a set of heavy doors at the far end. It took mere moments before they had passed the majority of their counterparts, and Jack felt comfortable speaking candidly. "You're probably wondering what we're up to," he said as they walked through those doors and entered another part of the palace. "I have a hunch that we need to follow up on. Things have developed quicker than I anticipated, and I need to know what we're up against with certainty." Jack eyed their Duel Monster companions with suspicion.
