Liam found a Riolu. 
"[i]Riolu, the Emanation Pokemon. It uses the shape of auras, which change according to emotion, to communicate with others. The aura that emanates from its body intensifies to alert others if it is afraid or sad.[/i]" Liam used about ten of the Safari Balls, but managed to capture the Pokemon. Liam, knowing full well about the appearance of its evolved form, nicknamed it, "Anubis".

With more searching, He encountered a Gible. 
"[i]Gible, the Land Shark Pokemon.It nests in small, horizontal holes in cave walls, that are warmed by geothermal heat. Foes who get too close can expect to be pounced on and bitten.[/i]

It took another ten of Liam's issued Safari Balls, but he caught the Gible and noted that it, like Anubis was a boy.
