Rosalyn Rosalyn was excited for the party. It looked like it was going to be so much fun. There were people everywhere of all different kinds. There was a very, very interesting looking guy dancing in the middle of a dance floor with people all around him, but he was really the only one dancing. Everybody else seemed scared to start and get shown up but that guy. Rosalyn wanted to go over and break the ice for everybody, he had the courage that they were all looking for. But there was a matter of what to do with Bride, considering she was too shy to even walk into the party alone in the first place. Rosalyn looked at Bride when she asked her question about dancing. But before he could answer, a guy walked by and Bride seemed even more scared than normal. "Who was he?" He demanded. "Do I need to kick some ass?" He asked, punching his left fist into his open right palm. He wouldn't stand for somebody hurting or scaring his friends like that. He'd take the guy out in front of all these witnesses if he had to. But only if that was what Bride wanted. Rosalyn realized with a start that this could be his first contract as a member of the Battleblood family. They got hired all the time to take out people that other people wanted taken out. Leon The girl seemed to misinterpret how sick he was and brushed it off as the common cold or something like that. She mentioned taking care of him and that made him smile a little bit. Usually when people found out he was sick, they avoided him so they didn't catch it. Even after he told them that he wasn't contagious. When she started tugging on his sleeve, Leon resisted as much as somebody with his level of strength could. "Its not a sickness that can be cured by bed rest or store bought medicine. I'm.... I'm dying and the only way I can be saved is for my parents to fork over more money than they'll probably ever earn to get the cure. Because doctors don't actually care about saving people, they care about milking them for every penny they have." Leon's tone was bitter as he spoke, the was obviously a touchy subject for him. Leon closed his 3DS and put it back in his backpack, he was pretty sure he wouldn't be playing it for at least a little while with this girl around. "Besides, I don't want to rest in bed any longer. I've been doing that for five years and nothing has changed. In fact, I feel worse than if I had continued to do light physical exercise like the doctor's suggested I do." But with overbearing parents like his, they wouldn't let him because they were afraid it would be too much for him. Now here he was, five years later, and he couldn't run three steps if he wanted to.
