Sharon’s idea for a dream date had always been to go out on one with a sharply dressed Captain America. Ever since she was little she fantasized and day dreamed about the day that she would spend with the man. Learning from someone she had idolized for so long; listening to him share his stories and words of wisdom. But instead, she got a trip to the Statue of Liberty, hot dogs, pizza and a vintage bottle of wine; was she complaining? Never! Yet now she was stuck on a ‘blind date’ with someone set up by a crazy red-headed assassin who could kill you with her pinky. Mentally, she was kicking herself for not telling Natasha off but that would give away that she was seeing someone. And she didn’t want to deal with Natasha being up in arms about not telling her. Sighing softly she pulled her sunglasses from her eyes and placed them on top of her head as she looked around. Her head was turned before she heard a voice, her blonde hair moved gently as she turned around to see Steve Rogers in a black suite with a matching tie, dressed to the nine’s and looking as handsome as ever. In fact, her breath caught in her chest in surprise and her face flushed as red as her dress. “Th--ank… thank you … you look… wow…” She said stumbling over her words like a fool as she took in the stunning man in front of her. They sat down together at the small booth before a peppy waitress skipped over to them, dropping off a few menus before toddling off. Her face finally calmed down before she picked up the menu and began to flip through it. They clashed horrible in the diner in their professional/date attire but neither of them really cared. “I’m sorry Natasha put you up to this. I hope it doesn’t make you uncomfortable Mister Rogers.” She said softly as she peaked at him from over her menu, her blue eyes twinkling at him with a sense of playfulness to them. Sure, Natasha wasn’t exactly straight forward with them but it’s good to know that she also thought that Steve and Sharon would make a good couple. “I can’t say I’ve ever ate before.” She said with a shrug. Turning the menu to him as if to point something out, she leaned gently over the table top and whispered, “I slipped a note under your door so don’t trip on it when you walk in. How would you like to handle this? And a kiss says that Natasha is disguised as the waitress so she can keep a closer eye on us.” She gave him a wink as she awaited his answer on how he’d like to play this off. There were many routes they could take and really anything sounds like fun. Even if they just walk out.
