Cuban Pete, still in his pod and still firing lasers, was teleported just a few yards above the street. A searing-hot laser shot forward and struck Deadpool's still form, reducing him to a rapidly-cooling cloud of carbon and protein and showering the others with chunks of molten glass. Pete, drunk as a skunk and staring through a debris-clouded windshield, didn't even notice the sudden change of location until his lasers had bored a crater fifteen feet deep in the sand.

With an unsteady flick of his finger, Pete shut off his weapons and thrusters. With a loud 'CLUNK', the pod fell to the floor and landed on its underside. Disappointed that he didn't manage to destroy the castle before he was forced to leave, Pete left his pod and stared blearily at the crowd of Avatars around him. Through a haze of crystallizing alcohol, Pete barely recognized Bee and Ajax as the people he thought had been killed in Hyrule.
