It's not as if he can use it excessively for offensive purposes. Teleporting and defensive uses is where it's at. Offensive-wise there are COUNTLESS combinations. Just because he's proficient at magic doesn't mean he knows how to use the full extent of Distance Manipulatio. If you'd like, I'll list all current uses I know of.
