Rattlesnake Jack couldn't help but glare at Bee when he mentioned heat. That city slicker knew nothing of heat, he didn't know the trials and tribulations of the desert sands. He pondered again on reaching for his gun with his free-hand. He could easily blast him down, but he was still under the mercy of Ajax. And shooting the bastard, would only secure his own demise. He grumbled a bit as his thoughts turned back to that Frontier Town, where he met that mockery of a human being, Doctor O'Malley. He felt sick to his stomach as he glanced at Bee, and he was already drawing the parallels to the man who he swore to stop at all costs. However Ajax was speaking wise words, he could have been acting out of paranoia. Nonetheless, Rattlesnake Jack wasn't about to let that slicker get off that easy. Inaction would only lead to greater misery. He wasn't going to let it happen, this man wasn't going to escape him. No, Bee was not going to escape his sights. "Maybe I overshot it." Rattlesnake Jack noted. He paused for a moment, "Ain't got no idea where we are pardner." He responded to Ajax as he glanced from side to side. "Too much water fer my tastes. And as fer why, shoot if I know, guessin' something dealing with that rock, or whatever. Honestly got no clue."
