"Astraia Hartwell," answered a young human woman, at the forefront of the new crewmembers. She was geared in a faded white jacket over a light blue tank top, and dark cargo pants, and she carried a heavy-looking pack, no doubt containing all of her gear. "I'm a combat medic, and an extra pair of hands for the medbay when they're needed. I guess I'll be keeping you security types alive, make sure this ship doesn't need to get more recruits too often." She was liking this posting already. Her first day aboard was looking like free time to roam around outside the confines of the ship. Astraia wasn't averse to long stints on the ship, but she did tend to get a little bit restless. Out and about was where she thrived. She was willing to bet this Gunnos was of a similar disposition. She'd spent some time around with some of the recruits already, but they didn't have all that long before they were expected to check into the Exeralune, their new home. It was as good a ship as any, from what Astraia could see. Maybe not the most well-kitted out defensively, but perhaps that was why she'd been assigned here, to help out on that front. Specializing in things other than fighting was not a bad thing, that was for sure. A couple of the other recruits introduced themselves as well, before they began to split off, either to settle in to their quarters, or to join in on the off-duty with the rest of the crew. Astraia was inclined towards the latter. "Haven't seen this arena the captain mentioned. What do you say we go check it out? I'll just drop my stuff off at my bunk." There were undoubtedly a number of interesting people to meet in the crew, but Gunnos would do just fine for now, and she could only meet them one at a time, after all.
