While she listened to Ev talk, Lisa felt an overwhelming urge to wrap her arms around the girl and tell her everything would be alright. She missed her chance, however, when a third person entered her circle of attention. Lisa felt a little miffed about that, but almost immediately realized she would have just embarrassed herself anyway, and she eventually contented herself by sitting next to Ev. Now that her body was out of the light from the door, Lisa seemed to become less [i]there[/i], as if she was melded with the shadow, but she could still be seen and most people would dismiss it as their mind playing tricks on them.
