Jessalyn - House/Baton Rouge - Outside Once Ben was done eating she burped him and changed him before looking through the clothes in the room. She found a white onesie and a pair of blue overalls with a cartoon lion on them. For herself she found a pair of jeans that were a little long so she had to roll up the legs a bit and a dark green shirt with a blue butterfly on it. Jess didn't see anyone as she came downstairs. Perhaps they were off looking for supplies or scouting the area. Peering outside cautiously, Jess saw there was no one in sight, living or dead. She didn't plan on going for a walk, but Ben needed a little fresh air and the sun was out. It seemed like a beautiful day. Jess sat down in the yard but still close to the door in case she needed to run inside. Holding Ben up, she lightly bounced him, raising him up in the air then briging him back down to kiss his face. She made silly faces and blew a raspberry into his belly. The baby boy giggled in delight. The whole time she played though Jess kept a sharp eye and ear out. The moment she spotted movement or heard anything they would be back inside the house in a flash. ----- Katie - Baton Rouge apartment - Leave? Katie thanked Adam for the bowl, but stayed close to Liam. Anyone who wanted to hide things was not doing anything good. It worried her, because Adam was supposed to be their friend. She was relieved when her daddy came back. But that relief soon turned to hurt confusion. When he said they had to leave she didn't understand, but when he said they were not welcome anymore the little girl felt the sting of betrayal. She looked at the group with large hurt eyes, like a fawn that had been harmed by it's own mother. "You don't like us anymore?" she asked but didn't wait for a response. It was probably one she didn't want to hear anyway. She scooped up her kitten and her small backpack. When Elyse tried to reach out to her the little girl pulled away. "I think all of you are very mean," she stated her opinion on the matter before going to her daddy. Along the way she took Liam's hand, silently stating that he was coming with them too. Liam was a kid like her and he had saved her before, had kept her safe and hidden when that dirty man had tried to hurt her and her daddy. He had drawn with her and played with her and helped her take care of her kitten. Liam was her friend. And with the way things were going, they needed all of the friends they could get. She didn't really care if George stayed. He was grouchy and sometimes mean. If the only people that went were her, her daddy, Liam and Scarlett, Katie would be happy. Scarlet her friend now too.
