Mika muttered a curse under her breath and then followed it with a prayer for the souls of the dead. The hallway of bodies was shocking to her but it wasn't the dead women or men which paralyzed her there. Children's blue eyes, turned toward the door as if they were hoping for it to open, stared at her as if wishing for help. Mika approached the body to take a close look at it. The body seemed to have been smeared with blood from those around him. As she felt around, she noticed that a couple of the ribs of the body to have been broken as if the man had been punched or stopmed in the ribs. Though the broken ribs would have caused pain, it would not have killed the man. There was post-mortum brusing on the right side and back indicating that the blood had pooled there which meant it had been dead for at least a little while.

Mika took out her scalpel and cut a finger sized hole right near where the liver would be located. She then took her finger and placed it inside the wound. The body was cold to her touch, which denoted that it had been there for at least a few hours. The only possible cause of death which was a series of three cuts along his chest. Though they seemed shallow, the blood which had gathered around them seemed to be in a unusually large quantity. "Well, it seems these cuts on his chest could have caused his death. Yet, he has several broken ribs, most likely caused by a fight or had been trampled in the rush to get to the door. His body is cold which means that he has been dead for a while. And these bruises on his back and side indicate blood has pooled there after death. I would say that he died from blood loss from these cuts but it is hard to tell." Mika told the team as the stood back up and took the blade off the scalpel and replaced it with another.
