Thats a damn shame, Garfield was the best bit about those Spider-Man movies.  Oh well, I hope they don't end up showing us another origin story then.  

At this point I think everyone knows that Peter Parker is the last son of the dead planet Krypton, and its our yellow sun that allows him to stalk the cowardly and superstitious criminals of Gotham city, after having Professor X lace his bones with adamantium in a cave, with a box of scraps.
