Karn suddenly got up and dashed off after saying something cryptic. "Smells wrong...?" She thought about it for a moment before focusing on sensing magic. It didn't take her long to notice the ominous sensation coming from the crumbling council building. "Geh, did they capture something within?" She saw Maddox run inside, at least, so she knew she could relax. He could teleport people out, so between him and Penny, things within should be... mostly fine? She should ensure things go smoothly out here.

She approached Grane, then, making no move to draw an arrow against him. "So, you want to tell me what's going on? What were you keeping inside?"
