Lara nodded in agreement with Janet. She smiled at her, grateful for her kindness. It was something few people had these days. Rick gave the okay to move out. He came to stand with Lara and Jan. He nodded once at each of them to make sure they were ready. Lara nodded back excitedly. She seemed so eager to get out and it honestly worried him a little bit. Not so much because he didn't trust her, but more because she was small and potentially vulnerable. He didn't want any bite accidents. He couldn't afford another lost member. He nodded again to signal that he too was ready and headed to one of the cars. He watched as Daryl and Sam got into the cab of a pickup truck as he slid into the driver's seat of a small sedan. He figured Jan would likely take shotgun and, by default, Lara would take the back. It was just a pecking order thing. Lara waited for Rick and Janet to take their seats before hoping into the back seat. She held her gun in her lap for easy reach in the case of an attack. She knew the Governor could be out there with his pals and she was more afraid of him than a few biters. The car would likely protect them from the undead, but definitely not The Governor. Carol grinned and nodded at Beth. "She will. Though, I hope she's still as sweet as the Judith we know today. I'd hate to see this world change her." She planted a kiss on Judith's head. The baby hiccuped and then giggled, kicking her feet.
