Rick drove closely behind Daryl and Sam, keeping an extra pair of eyes on the fence in case a walker unsuspectingly found its way to the fence. He leaned out of the window when he saw Carl. "Keep an extra close eye on things. I'm still not entirely comfortable leaving the prison with that asshole running around." He referenced the Governor with an expression of held back distaste. He knew Carl would understand. Lara watched the interaction. The relationship Carl and Rick had was special. A sort of father-son relationship that entailed more than that. More like two very close friends with a clear leader. It was something she rather envied. She had so few friends now that the world was a big ball of dead things. She didn't know if she really even had any. There was Michonne, which, though they weren't tight, did share a common past. They'd spent time in Woodbury, left it and came to the prison. That was about the extent of it. Lara had chosen to follow Michonne out, but before that, she'd never talked to the woman. There was also Hershel. She wouldn't really call him a friend. He was just nice to everyone. Something to do with religion, she supposed. Ya'know, treat others as you would want to be treated. She found that he was easy to talk to, though. He always listened and only gave advice when you asked for it. Janet had also been nice to her since she had arrived. She wouldn't really call her a friend either as they'd only had a small handful of conversations since the day she'd walked in. Janet was nice, but sometimes seemed a little distant.
