I'm gonna work backwards here:
Hemomancer
Yeah, I'd rather not have hemomancers around here. They can very easily get ridiculously OP. [@kimiyosis] Shades are a Dryad-only thing. No other race can become a shade. [@Sibelius] Firstly, I must point out that a two-hundred-year-old Orc is about middle-aged, so he's starting to get on the old side. That said, nothing's stopping you. I can give you a few different examples of conflicts which the Nordavind have been involved in: -The Minotaur Wars: There's been several of these. The humans and minotaurs fight constantly over an area of fertile land in the southeastern part of the country that both claim as their own (this will make more sense once the map is done). Considering the size of the Minotaurs, the Nordavind are almost always called in to fight against them. -The Dragonkin War: So about ten-fifteen years ago, a group of Dragonkin (like saurians but with wings and fire breath) came out of hibernation in the Desolate Mountains to the Northeast of Haderlock and started to burn towns to the ground. The Nordavind were called in to fight them, and a really big fight initiated where a lot of the soldiers were killed. The group of about fifteen Dragonkin lost, but at the price of many soldiers. -The Frost River Uprising: This was a smaller conflict where a slave uprising of minotaurs, centaurs, icemen, and humans fought with Nordavind troops and Juvegol city guards because they were being forced to build the bridge over the River Frost, which is extremely treacherous. The Nordavind really shouldn't have been called in, but the slaves started burning buildings and so the king at the time decided to shut them down permanently. Needless to say, few Nordavind were hurt in this fight. -The Invasion of Glaces: About thirty years ago, some wise guy had the bright idea to invade Glaces. This was a bad plan. Those are just a few prevalent examples. You can make up your own fight if you want to (since 90% of this stuff I just spit out whenever it's necessary anyways). @All: Okay, looks like the Beastiary is a go. I'll start work on it soon. EDITS: [@ViKtoricus] Another new guy? ALL HAIL THE MIGHTY BRASSICA PRIME! Also, Go ahead. Minotaurs are great. [@Kimiyosis] All races can use magical artifacts, however humans, elves, Fairfolk, dryads, gnomes, and Icemen do not need to use them.
