I used to have these weird definitions for OOC and IC. If I pull into my memory banks a bit, I think it went like this:

OOC is where you learn to hate your fellow RPers. IC is where you act on that hate.

Maybe it rhymed now that I think of it, or it had to do something with getting to know each other. I'll edit that if I can remember the exact words I put down.

I like it more when IC is something that's thought out rather than, "someone posted, I need to reply within the next three minutes so that we can just go back and forth really fast." Of course, that's the embodiment of the freeplay section. I don't have anything against them, heck I was [b]stuck[/b] in the freeplay section for two years. Until I learned enough to branch out and go into casual without ever looking back. Which reminds me that my 5 year Forum RP anniversary is in March. I forgot the exact date, so I just attribute the entire month of March to it.
