That and their personalities and interests are different.

Lazarus and Gabriel's personalities are about the same, what mostly got to me was the interest in women.

From J8cob's previous post, the style of magic is a thing to think about between two character.
Ex: Lissana, Elfman, and Marijane (I probably spelled their name wrong lol) have the same kind magic, but a different style for each.
