"Well, looks like that's all of them," said Maya, a young woman with sun-bronzed skin and long, flowing, flame-like hair. "Yes, thank you for all your help," replied Fado the goatherd.  "Here are some rupees for your hard work...aaannd...here, take some milk home, you've earned it." "Thanks!" Maya accepted the payment with a grin. Fado watched as she left with the bottle of milk slung over her back while waving goodbye, thinking to himself how fortunate it was that Maya had outgrown her days as a prankster and had taken up honest work.  "How time flies," he thought to himself. Maya arrived at the treehouse, seeing the town children playing. Maya placed the milk gently on the ground before shouting, "Colin!" and dashed at the young boy, coiling her arm around his neck, and driving her knuckles into the top of his head in an act of rough horseplay. Having been adopted by Colin's father, Rusl, Maya saw Colin as a younger brother. Because Colin was a fairly submissive child, Maya hoped that some tough love would teach him to stand up for himself as he was often pushed around by the other kids due to his passive nature.
