"Ignore him." Alan said plainly as Kuro left, "Eli's a bit unstable, maybe even dangerous, but I wouldn't call him untrustworthy." "In fact," Alan added, gesturing towards Eli as he quickly dispatched an offending Serpentine. "I'd say that his motivations and feelings are rather plain to see." As the commotion within the bar started to die down, the front door of the pub slowly opened. Passing through the door around chest level was a golden blonde head of hair, tousled and messy. A second head of similarly colored blonde hair followed, this one more well kept. The two heads were connected to the- rather short- bodies of what appeared to be a pair of siblings, one male, the other female. The siblings appeared to be young, much to young to have a reason to visit a bar. They didn't stand around for long, and quickly made their way to the bar and dipped behind it, silencing the already flustered bartender with a bright golden coin. Alan who had returned to his seat, watched the children enter with mild interest. He was mildly curious to know why a pair of underage youths were in the bar- though not enough to go up to them and talk to them. "Today just keeps getting stranger," he mused, nudging Ryza with his elbow, as he referred to the young twins that had went to hide behind the bar. He didn't have to wonder long however, as the front door swung open again- this time rather harshly, and into the bar stepped a quartet of rather thuggish looking men. None were particularly aggressive in their appearance of nature, but like almost every patron in the bar, they wore their weapons openly. The four men were clearly not members of the Adventurer's guild, as they bore neither Guild insignia, nor identifying brand of any Guild Band. They stood in front of the door looking around, before the one in the center, obviously the leader, gestured to the rest of them. The four men took a seat at a table nearby bar, next to where Helen and Adonai were sitting, and ordered themselves a round of drinks. They seemed to mind their own business, making small talk with one another, occasionally looking around and observing the rest of the pub. The leader of the group eventually turned around and tapped Helen on the shoulder. Pulling off his cap, he revealed his dirty blonde hair and shot her a toothy grin. "Erm, excuse me Ma'am," the man said in what was apparently supposed to be a pleasant voice, "You wouldn't have happened to have seen a pair of younglings come in here, have you? Blonde hair, just below the shoulder in height?" From the corner of her eye, past the man who spoke to her, Helen could make eye contact with a pair of bright, soft green eyes belonging to a young girl with golden hair hiding behind the bar. Her eyes widened as they made eye contact, and she rapidly shook her head, as though trying to convey a message. Moments later, a hand pulled the head back under the bar, and the soft green eyes were replaced by a pair of piercing ice blue ones. The the blue ones glared at her and the man as he watched their conversation, waiting.
