Norwegians were considered Danes at the time, raiding in the west. You could have had an ancestor looting an Irish church. I may or may not have Norse blood, I doubt it though. I do know a majority of my English blood is Anglo-Saxon as is my last name. Everything is pretty jumbled up there since Britain was invaded so much.
