We're telling them a story!" Once, in a land, far, far away, the explorers of modernity found an island far off the coast of their lands; too far to see with any sort of magnifying glass and certainly too far to hear any noise. What was surprising was that they had found that it had once been inhabited by other humans. There was a small village, complete with a market, blacksmith and artisan shops. Above the village was a castle, constructed with dark, mysterious stones, looming over the town like an ominous shadow. They had sent up a small search party up to the keep, only to never hear from them again. They sent another party to find them, and again they disappeared. That was, of course, until a graduate student found an old journal mentioning it and its whereabouts, but not much else. The student showed the worn booklet to the archeology professor and maritime expert of the university, Professor Jameson R. Miles. Professor Miles studied the journal extensively over a few days and found the island, just of the coast, too far to see or hear with the human eye. Who is that guy?" "No clue, but that's what we were going with! Thanks, guy!" Hello, and welcome to The Descent into Tartarus, a thriller-horror roleplay thought up by yours truly, though I'll admit to having some inspiration from the indie horror game genre. As you can see, the player characters are a bunch of students in college going to an island of unknown mysteries. We still have a lot of development to go through, but right now, I'm just trying to see if I got any interest?
