It has been little over a hundred years since the so-called ‘extinction’ of dragons. Actually, instead of dying off, they learned to take the shape of human and hide among them. There has been one slight problem though. Lately females have been giving birth to children that look human. This caused a lot of parents to give up their young to  to human adoption centers. Believing that they were giving their children the best opportunity, they put them in the worst danger. The children were human-born dragons, which meant rather than being born a dragon and learning to take a human form later in life, they did it in reverse. Their dragon forms along with their in-human abilities would remain dormant until they reached adult age. When that time comes, their human bodies would be forced away by their inner dragon forms.
