Kat kept her eyes trained on him as he handed over the book; turning it over in her hands it then faded away. Hearing his question she gave a wry laugh. [b]"I would hate to be so predictable."[/b] She purred playfully, wearing a smirk. Then in a split second her own staff was in her hand and she swung it low, sweeping his feet out from under him. As soon as he fell backwards the point was at his throat, the smirk was gone. [b]"You patronising ass."[/b] Just as quickly it disappeared, and Kat with it as she began to walk to gym.
