Oh and there's also Anna, my assassin character.  Her father was an abusive drunk who beat her and her mother and even abused them mentally.  It got so bad that it made her become mute and her mother, she committed suicide by swallowing a jar of nails (yes nails).  Anna got revenge on her father by dousing him in gasoline and lighting him on fire, but unfortunately he didn't die and ended up a quadriplegic burned up freak.  She was later sent to a mental institution for girls headed by an ex-Nazi doctor who made the girls fight and kill each other in a test to see who was the strongest.  Anna survived and eventually from there, she was trained how to kill without remorse.
