My question is, does the US government allow the Purge to exist and mobilize their units? In the UK, the Purge is banned (well it is a country ran by vampires sired under Bedivere and his spawn afterall) for being an extremist group, all field agents detected are dealt with discreetly (generally mauled by werewolves). Such actions they are taking now should probably alert the US government into taking action against them, unless the US government is controlled by the Purge. At which why are there vampires in the US, and why are the SOLIDER still around?

Good question. The USA would have to allow religious freedom, but murder is still against the law. SOLDIER, being the entitiy in charge when it comes to vampire-human conflicts would obviously ban the Purge. Nonetheless, the US is a very big place. Purge could totally exist in secret.
