Name: The Fourth Overlord Age: Unknown, presumed to be somewhere between 20 and 30. Gender: Male Appearance: A dark, evil overlord. Canon, AU, or OC?: Canon Universe of Origin: Overlord II Personality: He is, as the name implies, very evil, having been brought up in such a fashion. He will do what is necessary to get his agenda done, but prefers to dominate his subjects rather than kill them, if only because he understands the value of free labor. He seems to have an interest in women, although he now already has enough Mistresses and does not need more. Abilities/Weapons:
The Overlord possesses a large variety of weapons and armor, but there are some that are the most distinctive. - The Scorcher: A sword with a blade that continuously burns, refusing to extinguish even in water. Usually sets whatever it touches on fire. - The Reaper: An axe that damages the opponent while healing the wielder for every successful hit. Essentially, it is stealing the life of others, and it has been shown to absorb life even when striking the armor or shield of a soldier, provided that there is someone wearing armor or using a shield, of course. - Infernal Armor: Highly protective armor enchanted to let the wearer take more hits before falling in battle. - Infernal Commander: A helmet that increases the minion horde size of the Overlord to its maximum capacity in addition to providing already outstanding defense.

As the master of the Netherworld, he can access these gates all over the world, provided that they're there and they aren't damaged. New gates can be created, but not by him. Instead, the Minion Digger named Grubby must dig one for him. There are 5 different types of gates. - Tower Gate: This is a very large structure, and is the standard gate that the Overlord uses, and his main source of transportation. With it, he and his minions can instantly travel from one gate to another, or back to his tower in the Netherworld. These are created not only for transportation, but also for appearing very threatening and foreboding. A smaller version of this can be created, and is often used when convenience is preferred. Both of these gates can also continously replenish health and mana to the Overlord, but he needs to stay near the gate (pretty much arm's distance) in order to gain this effect. -Brown, Red, Green, Blue: Each of these gates have their own color to designate which minions can come out of which gate. The Overlord can then summon his minions through these gates, and cannot do so anywhere else. These are often created alongside the Tower Gates, for convenience when summoning minions.

There are four types of minions that the Overlord can control, up to a total of 50 minions at a time. - Brown: the toughest of the minions, and the first ones to charge into a battle head first. Completely melee-oriented. Also tends to wield any weapons they loot off the ground and wear any armor or hats that fit them. - Red: less durable than Browns, but are completely immune to fire. In fact, they can actually absorb fire into their bodies, and throw fireballs from a safe distance. Meant for ranged combat, although the range isn't exactly very far. - Greens: the assassins of the minions. More durable than Reds, but still less durable than Browns. Immune to poisons. Greens can do a lot more damage than Browns can if they are performing sneak attacks on a victim's back (best for very large opponents). They can even turn invisible if they do not move for a short period of time, leaving them undetectable by sight. However, they aren't exactly hygienic, and are rather... smelly. - Blue: the weakest of all the minions, and least suited for physical combat. However, they alone possess the ability to swim, as well as the ability to resurrect recently slain minions, provided their bodies are still mostly intact. Completely immune to magical attacks, and have the ability to "blink", allowing them to remain undetected by magical means, as long as they keep moving.

The Overlord possesses a small variety of spells, each one for different purposes. - Lightning Whip: A really basic spell. More like an discharge of mana in a manner similar to lightning rather than a spell. Requires next to zero mana, but is incredibly short range and deals only a small amount of damage, barely enough to kill things like rats or birds. - Evil Presence: Sends beams of dark energy similar to lightning into up to 5 people's mind, eventually taking over the mind. However, this effect only works on weak, sentient minds with weak bodies. If this criteria is not met, then it will simply slow down the affected targets and slowly wear away the targets' bodies until they combust into blue flames and turn into ash. This effect, however, takes a long time to produce even on weak bodies, and the tougher the target's body, the longer the spell will take. Impossible to dodge if the opponent is in front of the Overlord, but the spell has a short range similar to that of the Lightning Whip, and the Overlord must keep using the spell in order to use the spell's effects. Also, while using the spell, the Overlord is unable to use his weapon or other spells, leaving him completely vulnerable to attacks. Also, the Overlord has a finite amount of mana at a time, and will usually run out of mana before death can occur. As a result, the spell is not suited for combat, and is best used outside of it in order to establish dominance over a target (or try to, at least). - Halo: increases his minions' damage output and defense for a short period of time. Requires a large amount of mana, so it is not done very often, if at all. - Minion: The Overlord grabs a minion within his horde and sends evil energy into it, then throws the minion towards a target, turning said minion into an explosive projectile. The type of explosion depends on the minion being used. - Brown: Little damage, but high knock back. - Red: Fire damage. - Green: Poison damage. - Blue: Magical stun. This spell can also be used to regain health, at the cost of one minion and some mana.
Backstory: After his father, the Third Overlord, was trapped in the Infernal Abyss, his mother left the Dark Tower and was found outside the gates of Nordberg. The empire of the Third Overlord fell into chaos, until its annilhation due to the Great Cataclysm that destroyed the upper levels of the Dark Tower, leaving behind the wasteland. Several years later, still a little boy, a group of brown minions found him near the outskirts of the town. The people there greatly disliked and feared him, except for Kelda, who already has a mild crush on him. After being found by the minions he was raised by Minion Master Gnarl. As he was raised in Netherworld Tower, the Glorious Empire rose to power. The Overlord went through a series of quests in order to gain control of the towns of Nordberg and Everlight, and also went through the Wastelands to regain possession of the Tower Heart, an artifact that contained great power. Along the way, he obtained three Mistresses: Kelda, Juno, and Fay. After a long battle, he destroyed Emperor Solarius, ruler of the Empire, and proceeded to rule the world. One day, though, a netherworld gate was dug into a strange new world, and the Overlord set out to investigate it. He and Gnarl soon discovered that it was a large world called the Multiverse. They then decided that it would be best to conquer all of it, and have the Multiverse under the Overlord's control. Faction: Neutral
