Sorry to double-post, but problem with creating an adult character: I want someone unusual, idealistic, but, at the same time, [i]not an idiot[/i]. I want to create someone with the idealism of a child and the experience, and, dare I say it, courage of an adult, but my problem is that experience and courage come with cynicism and I don't want that in my characters; I like it in others', but I cannot abide playing a character tainted with cynicism.

You can't save the world if you've given up on it.
