You would also have to take into account language barriers. Sure, Mass Effect has translator software and all that but if you've never encountered the language before results are going to be limited at best for a time. Getting a proper translation requires understanding the context and culture behind the words and often times that simply doesn't translate over properly because there isn't really anything to compare it to.
