Gonna try to be vague to avoid any spoilers (if possible)

I was just talking about how the whole Chunin fight was about Naruto proving to Neji that destiny doesn't have anything to do with who you are and who you become. And he proved that point. But then you find out later about his dad and mom and everyone else... And it's like... Doesn't that mean neji was right in the beginning? 

That's just my thoughts.
