[hider=My resignation]Alright, a little heads-up.  I'll be leaving this RP shortly.  I'll do my best to explain my reasons below.

This RP lacks the feel of one that will go places I can get behind and/or look forward to.  Some RPs have this feel, and others do not, and as much as I wish otherwise, this one is among the latter.  The plot is solid and the players seem like cool people, but (and please do forgive if I sound in any way offensive; this is not my intent) the RP feels like it lacks the solid leadership that even the greatest RP of all time needs to actually get anything done.  The characters feel scattered and the power levels of their decks even more so.

We have absolutely no balance of decks which is detrimental to an RP of this sort in the first place.  One player's two characters run Nekroz and Nutellaknights, while at least two others use decks that I can't even figure out their goal.  We have somebody that at first you can't even tell if they actually are a vampire or not, but as I understand it they are (as much as I think this is a good idea, it feels out of place).  We even have one character who has the Millennium Freaking Eye for literally no good reason at all; they just have it.  I actually made Ava's story just to see if I could test any of the GM's/co-GM's boundaries with it, which in hindsight was a terrible idea since making a character means I have to use them.  Another contributing factor here is that I'm simply having too much trouble getting behind Ava's character.  Please don't assume any of this is said to berate the other RPers; it is simply that while this cast does sound interesting, it's not my kind of cast in the least.
(nor am I saying this RP should be fitted to my standards; if I thought that then this post wouldn't be happening)

While my thanks do go to Krein for directing me to this RP, and while it was fun while it was, it is best that I resign.  I dislike resigning from an RP so soon after joining, but if the alternative is sitting on the sidelines silently and not posting because I can't get behind my character or those of others, I would much prefer to resign.  I will finish Ava's duel with Lyall, but will be departing from this RP afterwards.  And who knows, my plans for disposing of her just might help you guys stir up a little plot later ^_~
