The monstrous creature that was Casan stopped its rampage upon seeing Torch held at gunpoint. While his priority was the capture of these men he did care for the well being of his teammates, turns out he wasn't heartless after all. "I blame the humans for this. Making me soft", he thought to himself. He changed back to his true form so as to not reveal his human cover. Thankfully these changes were painless due to his body shutting down his nervous system. Raising his hands up he signaled he would cease hostilities. "Very well. We will stop, just let her go-", before he could finish his statement Guardian Angel somehow managed to take out one of the gunmen. This time Casan was ready to act and he capitalized on his teammate's risky move. His hands were already up so he aimed the tips of his fingers towards Orb Weaver and in those moments time seemed to slow down almost. He had to be very careful not to hit Torch or else she'd he receiving a powerful dose of venom which would have her paralyzed in seconds and it would last for almost a day. His lined up the shot as best he could and his brain signaled for his body to fire the quills. He could feel them as they moved from their original place in his back down his arm and out of the space between his fingers. They shot out of him with the speed equivalent to someone using throwing knives. From the speed of the quills and the distance they were fired from Casan calculated that the Orb Weaver would have three seconds before the quills hit him.
