Clover tossed the pack to Ryan but the crowbar remained grasp tightly in her hand. She still didn't trust the man. There been too many times where her trust had been misplaced and she didn't want to repeat bad habits. She continued to eye the man from head to toe for a few silent seconds before finally speaking up. "I'll keep this for now..." Her head tilted slightly to the left. "...You sure you have nothing else on you?" "He's fine." Carter cut in, pulling his empty hand from the bed of the truck and taking a few steps toward Ryan. He switched his cane to his left and held his right hand out to the man. "We can trust him" There was no expression on his face but his eyes were like fire and he was sure he'd get the message across: Carter wasn't one for disappointment. "Ryan, I'm Carter and that's Clover."
