Charles was surprised by the speed of which his ghouls where taken down and he was annoyed by the scumbags for doing that. he chanted a dark spell and horrifying specters materialized out of the ground and fly towards the bad guys giving wails and shrieks giving off intense waves of sheer terror.

"I will see that you criminals feel true fear!" he shouted as his eyes glowed a bright red as his magic began to go out of control and the ground began to shake from his chaos magic.
